The purpose of the North-West Children’s Choir is to encourage a love for singing, develop self-confidence, teach leadership skills and promote unity through music in children between the ages of 8 to 17 years.
The North-West Children’s Choir has done several national and international tours which included traveling to Norway, Hong Kong, USA, Austria, England, the Netherlands and France. In 2018 the North-West Children’s Choir participated in the World Choir Games. Rudolf de Beer founded the The North-West Children's Choir in 1992. The choir is currently under the leadership our conductor, Christelle Engelbrecht, and accompanist, Anro Janse van Rensburg. |
