Auditions for the NW Children's Choir will be held annually and will take place during the last two weeks of July when schools start their third quarter . The auditions will be held at designated schools in the North West 
Province during school hours. 

All children aged 9-15 years who are interested in auditioning for the choir should complete the application form and make an appointment with Mrs. Elsje Kruger (078 459 8623). 

​The time schedule detailing the locations where auditions will be held will be posted on this website a few weeks prior to the audition dates.

Important information:

• Rehearsals - every Friday between 15:00-18:00 in Potchefstroom. Rehearsals are compulsory
• Regular marathon rehearsals on Saturdays from 09:00-16:00 (usually once a month)
• Annual camp: October
• There are financial implications like membership fees, choir uniform rental and transport fees.

 
For the audition:

•  Prepare one of the following songs: “Happy Birthday” or “Row row row your boat”
• Rhythmic exercise
• Test of vocal range (Soprano 1/2 or Alto 1/2)
• Memory test
• Aural test (singing of triads and intervals)
